
A two-vehicle crash early Saturday on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway in Maryland left four people hospitalized and prompted the closure of the northbound lanes, according to U.S. Park Police.
U.S. Park Police said officers responded to the crash at about 2:50 a.m. near MD-197. The crash involved two vehicles and resulted in a rollover and fire.
Four people were transported to local hospitals, three of whom suffered life-threatening injuries, police said.
Northbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway remains closed at Powder Mill Road as authorities investigate the crash.
Police have not confirmed any fatalities.
