Three men were left with life-threatening injuries after they were shot overnight in Southeast D.C., police say.
Officers responded about 1:20 a.m. Saturday to the 3300 block of 14th Place SE in the Congress Heights neighborhood for the report of a shooting. They found two victims with gunshot wounds, who were then rushed to a hospital.
Police later discovered there was a third victim from that shooting after he arrived at a hospital on his own, they said.
There was no information available yet on a suspect description or what may have led up to the shooting.
