A teenage boy was shot near a community college in Largo, Maryland, Thursday, police say.
The teen walked into a Kaiser Permanente clinic on Mercantile Lane just before noon suffering from a gunshot wound, Prince George’s County police said. Police said his injuries are not life-threatening.
Investigators then figured out the shooting happened at 301 Largo Road on the Prince George’s Community College Campus, police said.
Largo High School, which is right across the street from the college, has been put on lockdown, police said. A lockdown at the community college has been lifted.
Chopper4 video of the scene showed numerous police officers and a K-9 searching the area.
Police said a shooter might have left the scene in a car, but they have not yet released any lookout information.
