
A 10-year-old child was struck by a car Friday morning while riding a bicycle in Reston, Virginia. The child was taken to a hospital, and police are searching for the driver who fled the scene.
The driver of a dark-colored sedan struck the child at Baron Cameron Avenue and Reston Parkway, Fairfax County police said.
The child was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver fled the scene and was last seen driving east on Baron Cameron Avenue, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information on the driver or crash to call 911.
